About Us
The Chicago Wind Collective (CWC)
is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit wind ensemble by Chicago musicians, for Chicago musicians. Comprised of early-career professionals, the Collective exists to provide meaningful musical opportunities for artists transitioning into or out of formal music study. We aim to serve as a bridge between education and the professional music industry, fostering artistic growth, collaboration, and connection within Chicago’s diverse musical community. Through accessible performances, outreach, and creative partnerships, the Collective supports the next generation of musicians in building an inclusive artistic network.

Concerts
Our concerts feature a wide array of music and ensemble configurations. Come listen to us perform chamber music, large wind ensemble repertoire, the standards, new music, and everything in between.
Outreach
Community is integral to our mission. In addition to accessible concerts in nearby venues, we are proud to offer masterclasses, coaching, and collaborations with local schools and organizations in the Chicago area.
