Support CWC

Our work would not be possible without the generous support of community members like you.

The Chicago Wind Collective

The Chicago Wind Collective (CWC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and wind ensemble by Chicago musicians, for Chicago musicians. Comprised of early-career professionals, the Collective exists to provide meaningful musical opportunities for artists transitioning into or out of formal music study.

We aim to serve as a bridge between education and the professional music industry, fostering artistic growth, collaboration, and connection within Chicago’s diverse musical community.

Through accessible performances, outreach, and creative partnerships, the Collective supports the next generation of musicians in building an inclusive artistic network.

Our Mission

There are many ways to get involved with CWC. We appreciate all involvement including but not limited to:

  • Signing up to be a future donor.
While we are not accepting donations until later in the month of August 2026, your future contribution goes towards funding the acquisition of concert repertoire, compensation for musicians, performance spaces, and all of our wonderful programs that support the members of the Collective.

  • Sharing your space to host one of our concerts.

  • Hiring our musicians for masterclasses, coaching, and collaborations.

  • Attending our concerts!
