Biography
Kyle Dudley is an active flutist and piccoloist based in Chicago, where he freelances and teaches throughout the area. He holds a Master of Music in Flute Performance from Northwestern University, where he studied with John Thorne and received piccolo instruction from Jennifer Gunn and Alyce Johnson, and a Bachelor of Music in Flute Performance from California State University, Long Beach, under Dr. John Barcellona.
Kyle's performance experience spans a range of orchestral and contemporary settings, including Northwestern's Symphonic Wind Ensemble under Mallory Thompson and the Contemporary Music Ensemble under Alan Pierson. His freelance work has also extended to film and television, performing flute and piccolo for Netflix's Sierra Burgess is a Loser and Disney's Walk the Prank. He has furthered his artistry through masterclasses with distinguished flutists including Carol Wincenc, Jim Walker, and Catherine Ransom Karoly.
Kyle brings this same dedication to his role as Secretary, supporting the ensemble's operations and contributing to its continued growth in the Chicago music community.
